Yumbilla Falls plunges through the cloud forests of the Amazonas region in northern Peru, dropping in a series of cascades through steep, jungle-draped gorges. Visitors approach along muddy trails that wind through lush vegetation, with the sound of rushing water building long before the falls come into view. The cascade emerges from dense green canopy, sending mist into the surrounding forest and cooling the air noticeably.
