About this spectacle

Seven Falls is a series of cascading waterfalls tucked inside a narrow red-rock canyon in the Colorado Springs foothills. Visitors walk through a dramatic gorge where towering Pikes Peak granite walls close in overhead, amplifying the sound of rushing water into a full sensory experience. The falls tumble in seven distinct tiers down a sheer cliff face, and a staircase carved into the rock allows guests to climb alongside the cascades for elevated views. In winter, the falls can partially or fully freeze into stunning ice sculptures, transforming the canyon into a crystalline blue-and-white spectacle. The enclosed canyon creates a cool microclimate even in summer heat. At the top, sweeping views of Colorado Springs open up beyond the canyon rim. Whether draped in ice or full summer flow, the falls reward photographers and casual hikers alike with intimate access to dramatic waterfall scenery rarely found so close to a city.
