Diana's Baths
A series of cascading waterfalls and smooth rock pools in the White Mountains, spectacular across all seasons from summer wading to winter ice.
About this spectacle
Diana's Baths is a series of cascading waterfalls and natural rock pools nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Visitors follow a wide, well-maintained trail through mixed forest before arriving at a series of smooth granite ledges over which Lucy Brook spills in tiers of rushing whitewater. In summer, the pools invite wading and cool-off stops, while the sound of tumbling water fills the air. In autumn, surrounding hardwoods ignite in brilliant foliage, framing each cascade in orange and gold. Winter transforms the site into an icy sculpture garden of frozen falls and glittering icicles. The approach is short and family-friendly, making the baths accessible to most visitors regardless of fitness level.
